To build a steady workforce on data science that is diverse, responsible, and has a solid foundation, effort must begin at the K-12 level. For this reason, EnCORE outreach efforts will be focused on creating data science syllabus in school curriculum through regular visits to middle and high schools, and ensuring a year-long mentoring to students.
