FinDS is a new summer program that covers the mathematical foundations of Data Science.
Incoming 10th, 11th, and 12th graders.
FinDS is held at UC San Diego campus tentatively from July 31st to August 18th, 2023.
Virtual students will need to pay a $100 deposit. In-person students would pay a $100 deposit as well as $500 for food costs.
Yes, financial assistance is available to those in need. No student will be returned due to financial hardship. If you need financial assistance, we will figure it out.

Highschool Algebra (Algebra II)
You will need at least 1 STEM teacher recommendation letter. Optional to provide 2. Once you provide the email, we will contact that teacher directly and let them know you are requesting a recommendation. You should let your teacher know they should expect an email from us requesting a recommendation. Letters of recommendation need to be sent in by the deadline, June 1, 2023.

We will be accepting 25 students for the in-person experience and up to 50 students for the virtual experience.
Dr. Rajiv Gandhi is the main faculty member. He will be supported by PhD students and undergraduate students.

You'll be able to attend the virtual year-round experience once you've completed Group 1. If qualified, you'll be invited to participate in an advanced experience called Group 2.
